Australia Leads Opening Ceremonies - 2014 World's-Dumfries

Australia Leads 34 Teams for Opening Ceremony in Dumfries, Scotland

On Thursday 24th April, 2014, flag bearer, Ian Palangio, led Team Australia out onto the Ice Bowl Stadium ice in Dumfries, Scotland for the start of the World Mixed Doubles and World Senior Curling Championships. There are 34 countries competing in this World Championships and all teams marched into a packed stadium to the invigorating sound of Scottish bagpipes and drums.

Competition for Mixed Doubles, Senior Men and Senior Women got underway on the 24th April and will continue until the end of the round robin games on Tuesday 29th April.
