eLearning – Sport Integrity

This page is designed to assist with setting up an account with Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) for their eLearning courses. All Athletes, Officials, Support Personnel and Coaches must complete annual eLearning courses with SIA. If you have any questions about the process please send communication to the australiancurling@gmail.com email.

Athletes Competing in 2023 Nationals:

Read through ALL of the following instructions first before starting:

To find the Sport Integrity Australia website link for the eLearning courses click on the Resources tab on the Australian Curling Federation website. Select “Sport Integrity” from the drop down menu.

Once on the Sport Integrity webpage, scroll down to the section titled “Integrity eLearning”. Click on the hyperlink “Sport Integrity Australia eLearning”. This will take you to the Sign up and Log in page for Sport Integrity Australia’s courses.

On the SIA webpage (see red arrow) either sign up for a new account or login to your existing account by selecting the relevant button below. Further instructions are below for those completing the Sign-Up for the first time.

If you are an Athlete completing the Sign-Up select “Athlete” from the drop down category listed under the Basic Category (see red arrow below).

Further down, under the “Level of Involvement” section you can select “National” if you will be competing at the 2023 Nationals (see red arrow below). The level of involvement determines which courses you are required to do. See relevant graphs under the section titled “Integrity eLearning” on the Sport Integrity webpage of the Australian Curling Federation website for more details on required and recommended eLearning courses.

Once you have completed the sign up on the SIA website or logged into your account you will see this page ‘My Courses” (see below). Select the Anti-Doping Fundamentals (formerly Level 1) course first and complete. This may take approximately one hour to complete. Then select the Annual Update 2023 after you have completed the first one. This course will take approximately 40 minutes to complete. There have been people reporting there is a time delay between the first course registering ‘complete’ in the eLearning system before the next follow-on course can be accessed. Please allow enough time to allow for this (it can take a few hours or a day sometimes).

PLEASE NOTE!!!!! When you select a course a new window will open up to complete the course. KEEP both windows open for the duration of the course. If you are interrupted in the middle of the course close the Course window. When you open the course again you will be prompted with a Yes or No question about resuming where you left off last time. If you click ‘Yes’ the course starts off where you left off. Clicking ‘No’ will have you starting from the beginning. Some users have had the system ‘time out’ on them when logged on for lengthy periods of time and lost their completed courses. Make sure you allocate enough time to complete each course in one go.

Above (circled) is an example of the Anti-Doping and Annual Update participants should complete for Nationals – except the Annual update is relevant to the year you are completing since this image is old). For 2023 Nationals, it should be Annual Update 2023.

The Ethics suite of courses are also recommended.

Below is the list of required and recommended courses to be completed based on classification (Athlete, Coach, Support Personnel etc.)
